Turn the page........

Well, it's pretty obvious that the News Media is running on empty.
All this flooding of the airwaves and video waves with panic stricken stories regarding
airport security and worrying about loss of freedom and on and on has such a hollow ring to it,
nothing that most of the regular news casters have to say carries any weight and it has the sound
of gossip, it sounds like a bad concoction of lies that were not well thought out and will be overlooked because of their poor quality. Something is up, and it may well be the fall of the oligarchs. God has always been in control, God will never impose more than people can bear upon them, and we are all tried to the max. Lord Jesus, I am praying for you to intervene in a mighty way on our behalf, to press the "reset" button, Hillary Clinton had this mad "reset" button facsimile made for one of her meeting with the Russians, and it was a good idea, only I don't know if she knew that Jesus would be the one who would press it.

Jesus is our way, our truth and our life. In Jesus we are made perfect, whole and all power has been vested in him. He is our deliverer and his Holy Spirit is our guide. We need to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of our sins, and we will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, with the first evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives us utterance. Yes, that is what it takes. We can only repent when our hearts have been pricked, or should I say broken, when we realize that our sins put Jesus on the cross. Individually and collectively we sinned, and our sins put Jesus on the cross. When you think of the fact that he was the Messiah and that he was all man and all God, and that he was the word incarnate, and that he dwelt among us and the world knew him not, and that he suffered under Pontious Pilate was crucified dead and buried, for our sake's and for his names' sake. When you think of the horror of his death, the rejection he had when Barabas was chosen for release instead of him, and of all the things he had done during his ministry and the wonderful teaching he had done and the sinless life he had led and all the miracles he had performed, and most importantly who he was, it is heartbreaking. What is more devasting is that since God is the same yesterday, today and forevermore, it was not only the sins up until the point of his death that caused for his death, it was all sin past present and future that put him there, which means that each one of us is responsible for his death. That is why we need him, because we are heartbroken and there is nothing less that being forgiven, totally, by him, that will remove our sins and have them placed into the Sea of Forgetfulness.
